What this site collects
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking pixels. Nothing is loaded from a third party server when you open a page. The only data you actively provide is what you enter into the application form, described below.
Server log files
The hosting provider automatically records standard access data, including the page requested, the time of the request, the browser type and version, the operating system, the referring page and the anonymised IP address. This data cannot be traced to a specific person and is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in the secure and stable operation of the site.

Fonts
All typefaces used on this site are served from this domain. No font is requested from Google Fonts or any other external provider, so no data about your visit is transmitted to a third party in order to display the page.
The application form
The form asks for your name, email address, whether you are an athlete, a coach or a team, your sport and event, and a description of your situation. It is submitted only when you choose to send it. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, because it concerns steps taken at your request prior to a possible working relationship.
Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, the provider that hosts this site, and are forwarded to my email address. Netlify is based in the United States, so this involves a transfer of your data outside the European Union.
Confirm before launch: sign Netlify's data processing agreement, name the transfer mechanism they rely on, currently the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and state how long submissions are kept in the Netlify dashboard before deletion. Suggested wording once confirmed: applications are deleted from the form dashboard after twelve months, and correspondence that leads to work is retained for as long as the tax code requires.

If you write to me by email instead, the content of your message and your contact details are stored so that I can respond and handle any follow-up. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where it relates to a possible working relationship, and is not passed on without your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data held about you, and to its correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You may object to processing and request data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to the address above.
